We are very excited to let you know that Ecocapsule® is coming to the USA! We will be launching our unique microhome at the NYCxDESIGN festival (May 10th – 22nd) on Times Square in the heart of New York City. During 12 days we will present Ecocapsule® to an expected 5 000 000 visitors, media and business partners. We will be happy to meet you there!
NYCxDESIGN is New York City’s annual celebration of design. It attracts hundreds of thousands of attendees and designers from around the globe, NYCxDESIGN is the perfect place to premiere Ecocapsule® in the US.

Established in 2015, the Slovak company Ecocapsule® designs and produces the self-sustainable, mobile microhome of the same name. Equipped with solar panels and a wind turbine for harvesting energy, it can also harvest rain water, as well as filter water from natural sources. This makes Ecocapsule® a truly off-grid home, allowing people to live far from civilization, practically anywhere.
Ecocapsule® is a multipurpose unit which can be used as a house, caravan, houseboat, hotel, research station etc. The company currently produces the first, exclusive series of Ecocapsules® (limited to 50pcs) with the sales geographically limited to the US, Australia, Japan and EU. The second, unlimited series with a lower price tag is expected to be launched in late 2019.
Currently Ecocapsules® are produced and sold to private clients, as well as hotel resorts, nature reserves and other off-grid locations. They are also well suited for placing into an urban environment (e.g. roofs). Ecocapsules® can also be used as infrastructure hubs, providing shelter, energy, or public services. Due to their self-sustainable and green characteristics, as well as possible mobility, Ecocapsules® also serve as the perfect lodging option for ecotourism.
