Captain is a stray dog who was hit by a car, fracturing one of his legs completely. He was still trying to get around, even with it hanging limply from his side. Without help he may never have used it again!

We brought him in and plastered the injury. For 3 months we gave him rest, care, and most importantly LOVE. This big goober - who we named Captain - clearly needed it, he was just starved for attention.

After 3 months his fracture healed completely, and we had to say goodbye. If any dog deserved a home, it was Captain, but we simply don't have enough people who want to adopt. so we had to sent them on his way.
